Attacked by enemy fighters for 25 minutes until bomb release. A JU88 and ME110 followed our aircraft for 5 to 10 minutes before the JU8 attacked with rockets which shot along the port side of the fuselage. Both gunners opened fire and claimed this aircraft damaged. Mid upper guns then jammed. Rear gunner scored hits on the ME110 which attacked with cannon. Wireless operator did excellent work on Fishpond to instruct the gunners where to look for the enemy aircraft.
