Collided with another Lanc North of Ford, Sussex. Sustained damage to starboard tail wing, rudder and turret. F/S Pawlyk was killed and the W/Op, Eng, B/A and MUG all bailed out. The whole bomb load was jettisoned and the aircraft crash landed at Ford.
