Aircraft received direct hit from heavy flak near Duisburg on rear gunners turret, causing death of rear gunner. Pilots notes. Special praise due to Flt Eng, WOp and Navigator for getting rear gunner out of turret and administering first aid at great risk to themselves. Aircraft landed at Coltishall.
