Served with 9 Sqn. On return aircraft called Waddington D/F and passed a message, believed to be a request for weather report. This was repeated back for confirmation but the aircraft did not respond. Weather report repeated again 13 minutes late but aircraft still did not reply having crashed into trees near Belvoir Castle.
