Served with 100 Sqn. It was shot down whilst attacking the synthetic oil refinery at Scholven on its 15th op, At around 0140 it was hit by flak and exploded. The aircraft crashed near Gelsenkirchen, where the crew were initially buried. They were later moved to Reichswald Forest Military Cemetery.
