Charles David Woodley converted to heavies at 1651 HCU then being posted to Mildenhall on 15 Sqn flying Stirlings. They converted to Lancasters, but after 3 consecutive failures to complete operations he was taken off lfying for "Lack of Morale Fibre". He was reinstated to flying 4 months later, but after 6 more ops was shot down and killed.
