Served with 61 Sqn. Shot down by a night-fighter, either flown by Lt. Rolf Bussman of 11./NJG1 or Lt. Oscar Kostler of 10./NJG1. Both made claims for a Lancaster northwest of Vlieland, the aircraft being from 103 Squadron. However, both of these aircraft were also claimed by flak batteries.
